SAWA-Australia was established in 2004. In 2010 it was restructured into state associations. Currently there are two state associations, SAWA-Australia (SA) incorporated in South Australia and SAWA-Australia (NSW) incorporated in New South Wales. SAWA-Australia (NSW) is responsible for the work of SAWA-Australia in New South Wales, SAWA-Australia (SA) for the work in all other states.
