"Shopping for SAWA" Saturday 22 November 2008 10 am - 5 pm at 98 Darling Street East Balmain, supported by Tamarind Trading. A chance to buy quality gifts (craft work, home wares and jewellery from Africa and beyond) at great prices. Most items between $10 and $35, with 50% of the profit going to RAWA. There will also be a selection of Afghan fabric craft in support of RAWA. Third Annual SAWA Lunch. Thursday 20 November 2008 12 noon for 12.30 pm, Finola's Restaurant, Balmain Bowling Club, 156 Darling Street Balmain. 3 delicious courses $50 ($35 concession). Drinks available at the bar. Bring friends to make up a table of 4 or 6. Fundraiser for SAWA-Australia. A wonderful range of resin and silver jewellery and African craftwork at great prices.
